Chair strikes courthouse annex agenda item, board agrees to finish juvenile justice courtroom plans

The presenter said the architect firm GH2 has been engaged and that "I have a progressive payment here in my hand that needs to be paid," and advised the board to complete design documents to a stage that would allow the plans to go out to bid if the mood or scope changes.
Committee members agreed there was no need for immediate action from the board beyond finishing the work to obtain a set of bid-ready plans. The chair and members approved moving the item on the agenda and acknowledged the presenter will finalize plans with GH2 and submit them for the board to consider when ready.
The discussion included a procedural agreement to defer the courthouse annex item to a later meeting and to proceed with finalizing juvenile courtroom plans so construction procurement can begin if funding and scope are confirmed.
