Board members press for fixes at Roseland school and propose student advisory council

Several board members supported the idea and asked staff to consider how to implement it.
Board members also noted discussion of community-use facilities — standardized 60-by-90 metal community rooms at high schools — as a possible facility priority to support civic and school uses. No formal votes were taken on the Roseland solutions or the student advisory proposal; members asked staff to research options and bring proposals back to the board.
