The Forest Hills Board of Education on March 18 approved its consent agenda — items 9.1 through 12.1 — that included multiple personnel changes, minor academic‑calendar corrections and treasury items.
Board chair called for the motion to approve the consent agenda; a board member moved and another seconded. The recorded votes were yes from Miss Wazowski, Doctor Simmons, Mister Nye, Mister Ward and Doctor Strickler, and the motion carried unanimously.
Human resources reported eight upcoming certified retirements and several classified retirements representing more than a century of combined service to the district. The HR report also listed one rehire (Paula Highfield) on the classified side and minor technical adjustments to the 2026–27 and 2027–28 graduation times on the academic calendars.
Treasurer Alana Cropper presented financial statements through Feb. 28, 2026, noting donations of just under $12,000 in February and total donations of $247,000 for the year so far. Cropper also reported spring tax advances of roughly $24.7 million and said general‑fund expenditures were tracking about 3% under appropriations year to date.
No board member requested removal of any consent item for separate consideration before the vote. There was no further action recorded following the consent‑agenda approval.
