Coach Caleb Joy accepted and praised his athletes, highlighting top performances including Xavier Richardson (14:44 for the 5K) and Van Wymer (14:48), and describing the team’s historic statistical performance at the state meet.
The mayor also read proclamations honoring Warren Cobb and Renee Collins Cobb, co-hosts of the Overtones radio show and part of a group of four Lexingtonians recognized at the 2025 Josie Music Awards. Renee Collins Cobb thanked the council and accepted on behalf of other local winners.
The recognitions were ceremonial; no formal action was required.
