Communications from the mayor — including appointments, donations and procurement items — were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote with no recorded opposition. The council approved neighborhood development funds and council capital projects after motions were moved and seconded.
Councilmember Baxter referred a drag-race ordinance recommendation from the Street Safety Task Force enforcement group to the Social Services and Public Safety Committee for a fall presentation; that referral was moved and approved by voice vote.
