Commission recommends approval of Raiders sports and wellness campus master plan

The Henderson Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of a zoning amendment and master development plan to establish a sports and wellness campus on property surrounding the Las Vegas Raiders’ existing headquarters and Intermountain Health Performance Center.
Representatives from Stantec, including Jordan Block and Tom Young, presented a detailed master plan for the approximately 55‑acre site, focusing on roughly 25 acres of undeveloped land. The plan lays out four general areas transitioning from medical office and guest services at the north end to sport‑medicine and training facilities in the center and south.
"This would be a world‑class hub for innovative health care, mental and physical health and well‑being," Jordan Block told commissioners, describing potential visitor accommodations, rehabilitation services and medical office uses. He said the applicant remains committed to implementation milestones tied to the city’s land sale agreement and will return with a 2026 implementation amendment as the project secures partners and funding.
Commissioners expressed strong support. "This is a really amazing project," one commissioner said, praising the design and regional benefits tied to proximity to the executive airport and the new West Henderson Hospital. The commission approved the amendment and will forward its recommendation to City Council on Aug. 5.
The applicant said the updated master plan includes more detailed design regulations than the previous Sage Mountain plan and reiterated a commitment to a phased approach tied to market analysis and a partner selection process over 2025–2026.
