The board also awarded a fire-sprinkler testing contract to Encore Fire Protection for the period beginning April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2028, not to exceed $14,830. "This was the least expensive" bidder after the required site visits, a commissioner said during debate. The board also approved an ammunition purchase for the sheriff's office from the lowest responsible bidder at an amount not to exceed $16,028.
The board approved the consent agenda, including public minutes for March 12 and March 19, 2026, and approved payroll for the period in the amount of $1,692,712.60. "It's the lowest one we've had in a while," a commissioner said when the payroll motion was introduced.
Several smaller procurement items and contract adjustments were approved by voice vote, including a change order to KPMB Enterprises LLC for up to $20,248.80 on an HVAC ARPA project, and the board authorized the chair to sign a revised statement of work for Square 9 Software to align the contract with the intended scope.
The board also approved wellness expenditures (chair massages, up to $2,500) and a small purchase to equip a municipal building quiet room. The MedPass licensing renewal agreement for 2026–27 and a one-year training agreement with the UNH College of Health and Human Services School of Nursing were approved as presented.
The meeting closed with the chair calling the roll on a motion to adjourn.
