Germantown Design Review Commission approves minutes and multiple site-plan items

At its Nov. 18 meeting the Germantown Design Review Commission took routine procedural action to approve meeting minutes and a four-item consent agenda that included site-plan and landscape approvals.

The commission moved to approve minutes from the subcommittee meeting of Oct. 9, 2025, and the regular meeting of Oct. 28, 2025; motions were seconded and the clerk’s roll call returned only affirmative responses, so the minutes were approved.

The consent agenda covered four items listed by the chair: (A) Lakeview at Germantown (new/reface ground-mounted signage); (B) Germantown United Methodist Church — revised landscape and lighting plan; (C) Upland subdivision — approval of landscape plan and subdivision entrance; and (D) 2022004 Arthur Road redevelopment plan — building modifications, revised vinyl site plan and revised landscape plan in Old Germantown. A motion and second were recorded, and the clerk’s roll call approved the consent agenda unanimously.

The chair remarked, “That gives approval for those items,” after the roll call. No member offered substantive debate on any consent item during the meeting record, and no votes to amend or remove items from consent were recorded. The commission then discussed scheduling for a subcommittee meeting and adjourned.
