Board approves AFD addition, a rezoning with water extension, a solar SUP extension and an appointment

The board voted to add roughly 50 acres to the Gordon Creek Agricultural and Forestal District after staff and advisory committees recommended approval and found the application consistent with the 2045 comprehensive plan. Planning staff and the planning commission recommended approval, citing environmental restoration and compatibility with surrounding zoning.
Separately, the board granted an extension for SUP-21-0022, the Racefield Drive solar farm approval, to July 1, 2026, at the applicant's request; remaining items to be completed included landscape plantings, required stream restoration and a training session for public safety personnel.
Finally, the board appointed a candidate (name not specified in motion text) to the Colonial Behavioral Health Board for a three-year term beginning April 1, 2026. Each motion was approved by roll call.
