A select-board member asked organizers to coordinate with town staff and to provide a copy of event insurance and the route to the appropriate town offices.
Girl Scout troop leader Jennifer Archer, who identified herself at the microphone, asked the board to allow a small shed at the rear of the Old Town Hall parking lot to consolidate troop supplies. Archer said the groups currently store gear in basements and attics across multiple households and asked for a modest, half-size shed to be sited off the parking area. Board members expressed support but asked staff to ensure the location would not be on the leach field, to check past heritage agreements about shed appearance and color, and to coordinate a transfer/rental procedure consistent with previous town practice; the motion to allow the request subject to those conditions passed by voice vote.
The board instructed staff to work with the requesters and heritage staff to confirm a suitable site and to return to the board if the chosen location would intrude on the leach field or require further approvals.
