The Henderson Redevelopment Agency voted unanimously to approve purchase-and-sale agreements for three properties on Magnesium Street as part of a downtown parking expansion plan.
Agency director Anthony Malloy told the board the items are related and funded in part by tax-exempt bonds issued in November 2023. "The North End Of Water Street has become increasingly popular in recent years," Malloy said, adding that the agency plans to demolish existing older structures, expand the site into a parking lot and position one parcel for future development.
