Separately, the council approved Resolution 26‑047, a consent agreement with the U.S. Army Corps that would allow Lockport to put paint markings on the Division Street Bridge and use it for pedestrians, contingent on Lockport maintaining the markings and meeting security and lighting stipulations outlined by the Corps.
Council members asked about trail material; staff said material decisions (likely a 10‑foot asphalt path) and setbacks from the river wall would be determined during design. The items were placed on the consent agenda and approved.
