Council adopts two ordinances and refers three bills to committee; one no vote recorded

Bill 3813 (ZCA2024015383), associated with Galleria Meridian, was adopted as Ordinance 4054 after a brief presentation and unanimous vote. Bill 3814 (ZCA2024015720), concerning a hotel and restaurant at Volunteer and Chaparral, was adopted as Ordinance 4055; the minutes record Councilwoman Cox voting no on that motion and the ordinance carried with the remainder of the membership voting in favor.
Council then read into title the bills accompanying item 21 and amendments to the Henderson Municipal Code (bills 3815, 3816 and 3817) and voted to refer those bills to the committee meeting on Feb. 4, 2025, for review and recommendation.
