Staff said the camera footage shown in the social-media post did not clearly show the tree in question and that the tree appears to sit within the county right of way; commissioners noted right-of-way limits typically extend diagonally behind the curb and restrict vegetation over 3 feet in height.
Commissioners and staff said most property owners in the area have had good communication with the county, though a few remain unhappy. No formal legal claim or further administrative action was announced during the meeting; staff said they are continuing work in the Cloverdale area and will follow up as needed.
