Athletic directors updated the board on winter-season participation, team results, and program finances.
Chris Enyart, the district high school athletic director, said the winter program included 242 athletes (148 female, 94 male) and reported that 34.8% of those athletes had a grade-point average of about 3.666 or higher. Enyart provided financial figures: total income around $223,132.08 and total expenses approximately $204,880.92; he noted expected equipment and reconditioning bills (helmet and shoulder-pad work, and potential additional purchases) that could add another $30,000–$40,000 once final invoices arrive.
Middle-school directors reported enrollment and team highlights: Clark Middle School increased wrestling and cheer participation and used event revenue to fund hurdles and equipment; Grimmer reported wrestling participation of 31 and individual successes; Kahler described mixed participation but noted a boys basketball tournament victory and ongoing efforts to build programs.
Board members congratulated athletes, asked about senior counts for teams and scheduling, and discussed facility use when participation grows. No board action was required beyond receiving the reports.
