Weld County approves consent agenda, surplus property sale and several board appointments

After the chair presented the consent agenda, Commissioner Jason Maxey moved and Commissioner Lynette Peppler seconded approval; the board carried the motion by voice vote.
Staff presented a list of equipment recommended as surplus and for sale at auction through Roller and Associates; the board approved a resolution delegating authority to the controller to sign necessary sale documents. Commissioners thanked fleet staff for upgrading older equipment.
Commissioner Jason Maxey moved to appoint Carrie Funkhouser as the business representative on the workforce development board (term to expire Dec. 31, 2027); the board approved the appointment unanimously. The board also appointed Stephanie Ames, Laura Barrotta and Denise Hawes to the Juvenile Community Review Board by unanimous vote.
All routine motions carried by voice vote with no recorded opposition; the meeting proceeded to other agenda items.
