Ridgefield board honors Students and Employees of the Month and previews student advisory council work

The Ridgefield School Board paused regular business to celebrate student and staff achievements across district schools. Two employees were named employees of the month: Tyler Friedman (Central Services) and Janelle Faye (View Ridge); colleagues praised their service to students and staff.
Superintendent Rodriguez also described the new superintendent student advisory council (16 students), which helped draft assistant‑principal interview questions and will propose a student‑board representative policy in coming months. The district scheduled a public meet‑and‑greet for assistant‑principal finalists and encouraged community attendance.
The board recessed briefly during the program and then returned to the superintendent's report and business agenda.
