Grant County signs on to regional ProSuite CAD/RMS system; board approves cost‑sharing

The sheriff told the board that Grant County’s one‑time software price in the initial breakdown was $14,447.60 and that previously‑paid LATG credits should reduce the county’s up‑front payment.
"They just gave us a total bill, which is a $195,158.44, and then we're gonna split that up four ways," the sheriff said during the presentation. He described improved mapping and the ability for partner agencies and responding units to view shared incident details.
Board members discussed cost allocation, billing cadence and potential demonstrations for commissioners and staff. A seconded motion to approve the cooperative agreement and authorize signature carried; the board authorized using 9‑1‑1 funds for the county’s share and asked staff to schedule hands‑on demonstrations once the system is in place.
The board also noted optional add‑ons for EMS and fire departments and that host‑agency billing will require Grant County to make payment to Stevens County within 30 days of invoicing.
Next steps include final contract signature by the host agency and local implementation planning; commissioners asked staff to arrange demonstrations for the board and invited department staff to review the mapping and mobile features once configured.
