Treasurer Bob Culberson reported the CIC's financial status at the Aug. 27 meeting, saying the checking account at Fifth Third Bank held $229,420.68 after paying property taxes and general utility and lawn-care invoices.
"The current balance in the checking account at Fifth Third is $229,420.68," Culberson said. He added that the First State Bank account had no activity since the last update and that its balance remains unchanged.
A motion "to accept the minutes as printed" was made (mover recorded in the transcript as the speaker in SEG 027) and was seconded by the Moderator (SEG 028). The transcript records the motion and second but does not provide a roll-call or tally in the available excerpt.
The Moderator reported the payoff for the First State Bank building is $192,043.92 and said the CIC is waiting for authorization on a $200,000 revitalization grant from Hamilton County before starting reimbursement-eligible spending. The Moderator said members plan to begin soliciting demolition bids for the First State Bank building and an eventual second phase for the shopping center after the payoff clears and grant-administration details are confirmed.
The group had no additional items for open discussion and scheduled its next meeting for Sept. 24 at 6 p.m.
