"Nominees should be those who contributed positively to their reputation and quality of art, and culture in Bothell," the staff member said.
Commissioners discussed application details including required contact information for nominee and nominator, optional uploads of work samples (JPEG, PDF) and optional letters of recommendation. Several commissioners urged limiting optional attachments to keep the form manageable. Members recommended forming a specific review committee (suggested size: five) and testing the form in April so the application could go live May 1, giving roughly two months before a July deadline.
The commission asked staff to prepare a working form for the April meeting and to confirm file‑upload formats and limits prior to posting.
