The board voted to ratify the disaster declaration dated March 17, 2026, by voice vote 4-0, which the administrator said opens the village to potential state reimbursement subject to criteria set by the state.
The board took the action after thanking public works staff for extended plowing shifts and noting the village will continue to track and document costs and follow the state's reimbursement procedures.
