Mrs. Boyle presented the second review of three district policies and said the board will consider adoption of the policies at the next meeting.
Policy 4325 (Academic Intervention Services) was revised so that detailed operational guidance is moved into a regulation while the policy itself contains overarching statements of principle and purpose. Policy 5421 (use of epinephrine auto‑injector devices) was updated to clarify documentation and training expectations, particularly for non‑licensed staff, and Policy 9110.4 (employees with HIV‑related illness) received a minor wording update to consolidate language.
Mrs. Boyle also said an AED policy was pulled from this agenda for second review to allow an additional change to its associated regulation. The board will bring the three reviewed policies forward for adoption at the next meeting.
