The Jersey Shore Area School District board approved several routine governance items on March 23, including minutes, the treasurer’s report and bills, followed by approval of personnel items and miscellaneous agenda items.
Board president called for motions and the assembly approved the minutes and treasurer’s report by voice vote. During the bills discussion the treasurer noted a large special‑education payment (about $153,000) and that a middle‑school project payment had been taken from bond funds; the bill list was approved by voice vote.
Personnel items a–k were approved by voice vote after a motion and second. Item l required a roll‑call vote; the board secretary/roll‑call reader called members and recorded mostly affirmative votes with one member registering a “no.” The roll‑call procedure was completed and the motion carried.
Board members also approved the finance consent agenda (items a–d) and a miscellaneous package (items a–e). During finance discussion members asked about older food‑service receivables; administrators said many accounts reflected old addresses and collection efforts continue.
No contested or deferred votes on ordinances or contracts were recorded in this meeting’s minutes copy presented to the board.
