The policy packet included an updated artificial-intelligence policy that adopts the state model language, creating a middle-ground approach for permissible student and staff uses while outlining guardrails.
Board members asked procedural questions about thresholds and implementation; the administration said many changes are technical updates to reflect state law and the state model on AI.
The board did not raise objections and moved to adopt the revised policies as presented.
