Board holds executive sessions, invites superintendent and key administrators, then approves personnel actions
Summary

The Gardner Edgerton Board of Education moved into executive session twice during the meeting: first to discuss attorney–client privileged communications and then to discuss nonelected personnel matters.
During the motion to enter the attorney–client executive session, the board recorded that it would invite Dr. Hough, Dr. Jody Marshall, Dr. Booth, Amy Drogenmeier and legal counsel to participate. After the board briefly returned to open session, it moved into a second executive session to discuss the human-resources/personnel report and invited Dr. Hough, Dr. Marshall, Dr. Booth and Mark Meyer to join the closed meeting. The board set times to resume the open meeting when each executive session concluded.
After returning to open session, the board made and seconded a motion to approve the personnel actions discussed in executive session. The motion passed and the meeting adjourned. The board announced its next meeting, a BOE goals meeting at the Board of Education offices on Monday, 03/30/2026 at 6 p.m.
