The Lake County Board of Commissioners on Thursday approved a series of routine resolutions and procurement actions, including a $1,337,000 contract award for a waterline replacement project and approvals for payments, purchase orders and internal fund transfers.
The utilities department resolution awarded a $1,337,000 contract to DB Bentley Incorporated for the Regent Road Waterline Replacement Project (Project 478 W 2024). The finance department presented and the board approved payment of bills totaling $1,758,240.66 and purchase orders totaling $705,386.30. The board also approved a resolution increasing appropriations in various non-general funds and authorized a cash advance and transfers within general and non-general fund accounts.
All items were moved, seconded and adopted by the commissioners present. The clerk recorded affirmative votes from the commissioners in attendance; one commissioner was excused from the meeting. Later, with no old or new business remaining, the board voted to adjourn into executive session to discuss imminent litigation; the chair noted no business would be conducted after the executive session and that a public workshop would follow.
The meeting record does not specify the individual movers or seconds for the motions and does not provide a formal roll-call with full named tallies for every item beyond noting the affirmative votes by the commissioners present.
