York County commissioners approve conditional-use permit for Brad White's rebuild

Nathan Hines, the county zoning administrator, described a correction to the parcel information and said the zoning board had recommended approval by a 5–0 vote with the standard one-year removal condition. Several residents spoke in favor of Mr. White's project during the public hearing, describing it as appropriate for the rural area.
A commissioner moved to approve the permit "with the conditions that the zoning board" placed on it and asked that the zoning board and county board be notified when the old house is removed. The motion received a second, passed on a roll call, and the chair confirmed the permit was approved.
The board did not amend the zoning board's recommended conditions and asked staff to ensure notice when the demolition of the previous structure occurs.
