He told commissioners that roughly $245,000 went toward ice‑sheet improvements (including funds for a Zamboni), $129,000 was paid from the tourism fund to the convention and visitors bureau, $119,000 went to the library for books, eMedia and RFID tags, $77,000 covered sewer treatment fees and $62,000 supported jail needs such as culinary items and utilities.
Commissioner Hart asked whether the Zamboni purchase was a sole‑source contract; commissioners noted there are only a few makers of that equipment. There were no further questions. Commissioner Hart moved to approve the consent items; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.
The county clerk had earlier noted item F‑8 would be held, and that item remains on hold pending further action by staff.
