Camden County approves resolutions 1–64 with noted abstentions; resolution 65 receives no motion

The Camden County Board of Commissioners moved and approved resolutions 1 through 64 by unanimous consent at a regular meeting, with a small number of abstentions recorded on specific items.

The motion to approve the minutes and to adopt the block of resolutions was made during the meeting and carried after individual roll-call confirmations. Director Cappelli said he would abstain on several individual items, and Commissioner Young said he would abstain on item 9; the clerk conducted the roll call and recorded the votes.

The board’s approach was procedural: the commissioners reviewed the items at caucus, then the board approved the listed resolutions in a single block. Director Cappelli stated his abstentions on items 1, 2, 4 and 9, and Commissioner Young said during the roll call that he would abstain from item 9. Other commissioners recorded votes of “yes” to the listed items during the roll call.

Resolution number 65 was brought before the board but received no motion and therefore was not acted on at this meeting.

The vote to adjourn followed later in the meeting. No additional votes on the resolutions were scheduled during the session, and the clerk recorded the proceedings for the official minutes.
