"The parade is happening. We are currently at 33 floats," the presenter said, noting bands and collaborators are promoting the event on their own channels. The presentation showed an event map that marks restrooms, staging areas, car-show locations and vendor zones and proposed QR codes to give attendees real-time access to schedules on their phones.
Organizers said they are still working to persuade some restaurants to open during the event and have added merchants who will remain open to event promotional materials. The team expects photographers and videographers to capture event content that will help promote future editions of Founders Day and Christmas parades.
Council members thanked organizers and encouraged continued merchant outreach and volunteer coordination as the city finalizes logistics in the coming days.
