Powhatan County's representative (Mr. Webb) described the location as a principal intersection undergoing commercial growth and thanked Chet and staff for their assistance; he also recognized county staff, including Sarah Dutton, for their role in moving the project forward.
Sharon Smidler moved approval and Barb seconded. The committee handled the vote by voice and the motion passed unanimously.
Next steps: the project agreement will proceed to execution so Powhatan County can seek reimbursements under the terms in the packet.
