Livingston County Board approves proclamations, budget amendment, appoints HR director and awards ConnecTel bid

At its regular meeting, the Livingston County Board of Supervisors adopted several resolutions and took a series of routine actions.

The board adopted proclamations recognizing the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in Livingston County and designated April 2026 as County Government Month. The clerk recorded votes and the items were adopted by the board.

The board approved a resolution to amend the 2026 Livingston County budget for central services after a motion for unanimous consent. The clerk reported the vote as recorded ('Aye, 3665; Absent 1389').

Supervisors appointed the personnel officer, Emily A. Stevenson, as acting human resources director for Livingston County. Stevenson was present and given an opportunity to introduce herself.

The board also awarded bid number 202604 for the Livingston County ConnecTel municipal infrastructure program (service area 3) to Henkel's and McCoy Inc.; the motion was moved and approved by roll call.

Separately, the county reported that it has submitted projects for congressional earmark consideration and has received preliminary feedback from representatives; the county administrator indicated some projects, including infrastructure items and a mobile command vehicle for the sheriff's office, may have advanced in the process.
