The Measure H Citizens Oversight Committee unanimously reappointed Vice Chair Trefa during its March 18, 2026 meeting and approved three consent-calendar items as a single block.
Vice Chair Trefa presided over the meeting and opened the appointments item. Committee member Cerny nominated the incumbent for another term, saying, "Well, I personally think that he's done a fine job, and I'd like to nominate him for another term." A colleague seconded the nomination and the committee opened the floor to public comment; no members of the public spoke.
The committee recorded votes by roll call. Committee member Cerny voted yes; Committee members Wells and Huerta and Vice Chair Trefa also registered yes votes; the motion carried 4-0. The committee then considered the consent calendar. A committee member moved to approve items 1 through 3 as a block; the motion was seconded and approved by the same 4-0 tally.
The presiding officer noted there was no new business and the meeting proceeded to staff reports. The committee adjourned after the reports were heard.
