Brisbane Planning Commission elects Gooding as chair, Funka as vice chair

The chair nominated Gooding for chair, a commissioner seconded the nomination and the commission approved the motion by voice vote. Commissioners then nominated Funka for vice chair, the nomination was seconded, and the commission approved that vote by voice as well. The meeting adjourned to the commission’s next regular meeting on March 12, 2026.
Both nominations were uncontested and were announced during the meeting’s final agenda item on items initiated by the commission. No further substantive business was initiated by commissioners at that time.
