The committee did not commit to a specific art budget at this meeting; members said the subcommittee should continue outreach and bring back firm cost estimates and a recommended process for allocating funding.
The meeting also included a brief construction update on the Alvarado–San Benito stairway: staff reported drainage work near the San Benito top end is nearly complete, a prefabricated final section will be installed and artists are prepared for installation.
