The Chair said commissioners should wear youth commission apparel while representing the group and be prepared to guide or assist participants. The sign-up deadline posted in Slack is Feb. 4.
The Chair encouraged commissioners who cannot attend to notify staff via Slack so shifts can be covered. The commission also scheduled a Feb. 23 ad hoc meeting intended for final event preparations ahead of the open house work.
What happens next: the minutes are recorded as approved; commissioners were asked to complete sign-up by Feb. 4 and to continue coordinating event duties in subcommittees.
