La Mesa council unanimously approves consent calendar and reappoints members to outside boards

The mayor said he would "step down in SANDAG" and that Vice Mayor Casares would serve as primary with Council member Dillard as the alternate; Council member Lothian would remain a second alternate. Vice Mayor Casares also asked to be added to the Future MacArthur Park subcommittee, and that amendment was adopted as part of the broader motion.
