The panel, led by Mayor Tyler Williamson and Vice Mayor Ed Smith, opened the session by reviewing a six‑question interview script and explaining that each interview would run about 15 minutes. "We truly appreciate the time and thought you put into applying," Williamson said, noting staff will follow up with applicants and the mayor and vice mayor will present a ranked recommendation to the council.
