Director of Parks and Recreation Scott Wasserman announced an Easter egg hunt Saturday, March 28 at Civic Center Park/Villa Verde Park for children ages 2–10 and a Kids Fun Club program for spring break, March 30–April 3 at Ladera Serra Park with a fee of $150 for the week. The city manager reported that the dog park at Horse Thief Canyon Park closed Jan. 13 for annual maintenance and is expected to reopen in about five weeks. The city attorney reminded the council a closed session would follow open session to consider labor and real-property negotiations.
The city clerk announced the municipal election will be held June 2, 2026, with the nomination period opening Feb. 9 and closing March 6. Council members also praised recent Caltrans removal of abandoned barrels reported via the My San Dimas app and noted community involvement with Special Olympics events.
