Architects explained the design adds a recessed, framed portal with bronze‑finish storefront glass and a screening element matching the ATM material. Commissioners encouraged the team to consider a vertical mullion in the upper pane above the door to echo historic divisions and requested a three‑dimensional rendering to illustrate the recess/depth. Several commissioners said they welcomed the lively tenant and saw no need to retain prior storefront details.
Motion language directed minor refinements (central mullion, clarify top trim treatment, and provide a side‑angle 3‑D view) and the commission approved moving the item to consent. Staff recorded the action as not appealable.
