San Dimas — The City Council voted unanimously April 22 to adopt Resolution 2025-21, approving the city’s investment policy for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, and delegating authority to the administrative services director, who also serves as the city treasurer, to manage the city’s portfolio with city manager oversight.
Staff said there were no substantive changes to the policy except the addition of municipal bonds as an allowable investment type. The resolution affirms the city’s existing approval and oversight process while authorizing the treasurer to execute routine investment transactions under the adopted policy.
The motion to adopt the resolution was made and seconded from the dais; the council voted 5–0 in favor. Staff said they will continue to coordinate purchases and activity with the city manager and report as required by municipal code.
