At its March 10 meeting the board approved routine business items including minutes, reports and personnel actions and adopted resolutions recognizing April as National Autism Awareness Month and School Library Month.
The chair took the motions and recorded the outcomes. On the minutes for the Feb. 24 meeting the chair announced the motion carried "8 to 0." The reports and recommendations (letters a–f) were approved by voice vote, as were instructional and support personnel changes listed on attached sheets dated 03/10/2026. The board also recognized a flute donation from Mr. Carl M. Bear and acknowledged the retirement of Mr. Hellkamp, a support staff member who worked in high school security.
Following those approvals, the chair moved — and the board seconded — to enter executive session "to discuss an employment matter." The motion carried 8 to 0 and the public meeting adjourned to executive session at 7:28 p.m.
No public votes on budget adoption occurred during the session; the administration will return with revised budget materials in April.
