Casa Grande council approves $5.59 million contract for Treckle Road relief sewer

The City of Casa Grande City Council voted to award a construction manager‑at‑risk contract to Lisonbee Mills Contracting LLC for the Treckle Road Relief Sewer project under a guaranteed‑maximum price not to exceed $5,586,519, with a city‑controlled contingency of $175,683, the council heard.

Staff member Kevin recommended the award, saying the project is part of a 10‑project sewer improvement program and is intended to add capacity where an existing main line is approaching its limit. “This will add sewer capacity with a new sewer line in Truckee Road from Cottonwood North to Courtzen,” Kevin said, describing included traffic control and pavement restoration and estimating work would finish before the end of the year if construction begins promptly.

Council considered Resolution No. 5896, which authorizes expenditure of public funds and execution of a contract with Lisonbee Mills Contracting LLC.
