Fulton Elementary showcased: new panels, community events and teacher recognition

Fulton Elementary was the board’s featured campus March 19, where Principal Linda Cox presented the school’s spring activities, facility improvements and staff recognitions.

Cox highlighted classroom installations of new interactive panels and said students have continued growth in reading, writing and problem solving. She noted a successful Fulton morning bike ride event that brings students and families together and plans such as "Pancakes with Principals" and principal advisory councils to improve family engagement.
Cox closed by recognizing Heather Morales for 16 years of service, her structured literacy/dyslexia intervention certification and campus leadership. "She helps us make most of our schedules... and anytime a teacher needs her as a mentor, a student needs someone to go to, Heather has always been there," Cox said.
What’s next: Fulton Elementary will continue community events and student supports; the principal invited trustees and community members to upcoming activities.
