Separately, Jeff Brown reported development activity in the city, saying 43 single-family units were constructed in the last month and that construction valuation the meeting recorded as about $1,414,800,000 will be added to the tax rolls potentially in January. Brown cautioned that some monthly TRT metrics fluctuate by timing of presentations.
Board members asked about outreach to transportation partners; Brown said he had contacted the TPO and had not yet received a response. Team Volusia also noted upcoming trade shows where staff will promote the county's manufacturing and aviation strengths.
