The Village of Oswego on May 2025 approved an economic incentive agreement with Choose Healthy LLC and William and Maria Helgeson to support exterior improvements at 25 Main Street.
Kevin Leidy, the village's economic development director, described a revised $15,550 project budget and a requested $5,000 grant to cover an awning, safety bollards and parking-lot repairs. Leidy said staff judged the revised scope — focused on new awning and safety bollards — to be eligible under the village economic development policy.
The board moved and seconded an ordinance approving the agreement. A roll call vote recorded unanimous approval from trustees present.
The ordinance directs village staff to finalize an economic incentive agreement with the applicant; the owner was not present at the meeting and staff said the item would be executed with William and Maria Helgeson as listed in the ordinance.
