The board also presented November seniors of the month: Nadia Holloway, Richard KJ Wolford and Ava Hutton, with biographies read by staff and board members.
The board accepted a donations report showing $11,792 in monetary gifts for November directed to schools and programs across the district. Notable contributions included a $5,000 donation from E.T. Gresham for tools and supplies for the carpentry class, multiple smaller donations to homeroom and classroom funds, and material donations such as books and pumpkins for elementary schools. The board voted to accept the donations with grateful appreciation.
