The North Las Vegas City Council used its Oct. 1 meeting to recognize local businesses and schools, emphasize fire safety, and announce a new city initiative to engage small businesses.
The council named Mathnasium of North Las Vegas the October 2025 Business of the Month, praising the center’s partnership with the Clark County School District and its work with students from kindergarten through grade 12. Alan Brown, who accepted remarks with his center director Destin, described his decade of work with Mathnasium and thanked the council for the recognition.
