Putnam County zoning board elects officers; approves minutes

At the March 18 meeting of the Putnam County Zoning Board of Adjustment, members opened nominations for officers and voted 6-0 to retain Linda Osborne as chair, pending confirmation of her acceptance by phone or email.
A member nominated Linda Osborne for chair; the nomination was seconded and the board recorded a 6-0 vote. Board members said staff would contact Osborne to confirm her acceptance and report back at the next meeting.
Nominations for vice chair produced a 6-0 vote in favor of Ron West after a member nominated him and a second was recorded. The board also approved the minutes of Oct. 15, 2025 as amended after a motion and second.
During new business, a member announced that Nancy Brown became the county’s senior planning coordinator in December and commented positively on her work. The board then moved to adjourn.
