Short said his board had already started field improvements at a different site and was prepared to perform maintenance on a new site (baselines, dirt work, dugouts) if the town could accommodate games. Trustees suggested a special meeting with interested parties and asked Short to provide contracts or proof of insurance.
No formal permit or field-access agreement was adopted at the meeting; trustees agreed to continue the discussion at a special meeting to finalize logistics before the season start date.
